October Recipe 2

Well lucky, lucky you! Since Halloween is this month I've given you a dish that the kids can have at their party, now you get one recipe for the adult party! Vampire's Blood

Ingredients

2 parts vodka
1 part grenadine
Old Smokey moonshine soaked cherries
Plastic vampire teeth
red food coloring
sugar

Instructions

1. Add ice, vodka, grenadine, 4-5 drops of food coloring, and 4 cherries into a shaker. 
2. Shake well.
3. In a small bowl mix sugar and res food coloring - for every 1/4 cup of sugar add 8 drops of food coloring. 
4. Pour small amount of vodka onto plate and sugar mixture onto another plate.
5. Rim glasses by dipping in vodka, then in sugar. 
6. Pour drink into rimmed glasses.
7. Add 1 cherry and one set of teeth

October Recipe

Crispy Spider Webs

Ingredients

Salt and Pepper (to taste)
1/2 tablespoon of basil (dried)

2 cups of Parmigiano Regiano
Multiple sprigs of fresh Basil (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 
2. Cover two or three sheet pans with wax paper or silicone
3. Mix cheese, basil, salt and pepper thoroughly.  
4. Take a tablespoon and fill it with cheese mixture. 
5. Sprinkle in a section of the sheet pan in a circle like shape. 
6. Repeat until mixture is gone
7. Let cool completely. 
8. Garnish with basil and anything else that's spooky!
